Nature is beautiful!

Hello there!

I just wanted to share with you all the beautiful sight that I saw on my way back to the cities this weekend. While driving along in the bug, I spotted a small pond on the side of the road filled with beautiful swans. So, naturally I slammed on my brakes and pulled over to snap a few shots!

Hope you enjoyed these beautiful swans as much as I did! And the new layout! ;)

Peace.

Bemidji Update!

Hello Capture fans!
I have been so busy with classes and homework, and my boyfriend BREAKING HIS ANKLE (more to come on that...) that I have neglected to keep you all updated on my fascinating life. So, here's a quick (probably really long actually...) update on all things me!

School is roughly 107% better than at the U (minus the fact that there's no AOII - sad face...). I'm serious. You'd be surprised what you can learn when you actually have teachers that teach you stuff. I love the people, I love the classes, and I don't even mind the homework! Maybe I've finally settled on a major? Let's hope so...

Bemidji is absolutely beautiful, and I'm so excited for it to be fall! I love, love, LOVE being here with my amazing boyfriend of almost 5 years (SEPTEMBER 18TH - WHOOOO!). BUT he's on the rugby team and broke his ankle in practice on Tuesday. Right before their first tournament, which is this weekend! (Which I just so happen to be the official Angry Beavers photographer for!) He will be on crutches for at least a month, which means he gets to have me take care of him for at least a month. How lucky is he, huh? ;)

So finally, here's an update on what you all come here to read about anyway! (AKA Capture Photography news). This weekend I am traveling down to the cities with the Angry Beavers Rugby club (and my broken boyfriend), to take some pictures at their tournament! So excited! Keep checking back! I'll put up some pictures when I get them all edited!

One more class to run off to before the weekend!

Happy Thursday! (My Friday! haha!)

P.S. Sorry for all of my side notes today (I guess I'm feeling witty!) ;)

An adorable baby bump.

I have finally finished all of my summer editing, and I'm very excited to share these pictures with you because they are from my very first maternity session! Dayis is my boyfriend's cousin, and she and her husband, Steven, are the sweetest people I know! For their session, Brady and I travelled to Cook, MN where they live and run a resort! It was seriously beautiful, and the perfect place to take their pictures! Check it out - http://www.springbayresort.com

These last few I just have to share because they are adorable! Steven and Dayis' dog, Koda is a total mommy's dog, and she was not having anything to do with staying away while we were taking pictures. So she hopped in. :)

I'm so glad that Dayis was my first maternity shoot, and I'm so excited to see baby Amundson soon! :)

On a Bemidji update; the first week of class is officially over! (For me anyway...) No class on Fridays = three day weekends for me! :)

Sessions are done for now, until my weekends home begin, but I'll keep you updated with any Bemidji photography that I do!

So long! Enjoy the weekend!

The time has finally come...

TO SEE SHANNON'S SECOND SESSION! That's right, session two is officially complete! :) They are absolutely fabulous, just like Ms. Shannon.

So many pictures, I KNOW! But they were all so gorgeous and it was hard to decide which one's to share! :)

Happy Tuesday! Off to do homework!
